The big day has finally come!

Quick notes:

Yes, we are really sold out of tickets. Do not come if you don't have tickets.

03-18-10  Congratulations to the Boston Indie Showcase!
The Boston Indie Showcase was created to give local Boston developers the opportunity to exhibit their work at PAX East without eating into their elusive indie budgets. We received a flurry of submissions, but we’re proud to announce the following six companies into the 2010 Boston Indie Showcase!

Fire Hose Games (Slam Bolt Scrappers)
Dejobaan Games (AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!)
MIT Gambit Game Lab (Dearth)
MIT Gambit Game Lab (Waker)
Keith Morgado (Turba)
Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure)

For or a full rundown with screenshots and descriptions, check out our full page here.

Congratulations to those selected, and for those attending PAX East, be sure to check out their games at Booth 117!

PAX IS NEXT WEEK

03-08-10  The Omegathon!
For those of you waiting on details for the Omegathon, check out this article here! Be sure to check your show bag for the entry cards and get them filled out BEFORE entering the keynote. People will be collecting them as you enter, and we’ll be announcing the Omeganauts live on stage!

For those that registered on the 25th of February or earlier, badges are in the mail! You should be getting those soon so keep your eyes peeled.

As we approach the show, make sure to follow the @Official_PAX for day-of news! See you LESS THAN THREE WEEKS!

02-26-10  ONE MONTH AWAY!
For those of you that missed it, we launched our official PAX East 2010 Schedule! Please plan accordingly, as we’ve packed them in pretty tight as usual! We’re also starting to ship out badges this week, so keep your eyes peeled on your snail-mailbox and let us know if you have any questions! A flurry of announcements are forthcoming!
02-03-10  3-Day Badges SOLD OUT
As the subject implies, we are 100% sold out of 3-day badges. We do have a limited number of stock of the individual day passes, but for the full weekend pass, we are completely out of them. Sorry! Also as a reminder, for those that are interested in a BYOC slot, check out the registration info here!
01-28-10  BYOC Registration is Open!
For those interested in a spot in our BYOC LAN, please check out the thread here. It’s essentially a little spot during the show that’s “your own,” and you need to have a regular 3-Day pass already purchased before you can snag one of the BYOC spots. Space is limited!
01-20-10  Only the facts.
FACT. We will sell out of badges for PAX East Coast 2010.

If you want to go to the show, now is the time to register. Much like PAX Prime, based on what we’re seeing on pre-registration numbers there will be NO BADGES AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. I don’t like to use all caps, but I felt me being rude for a minute there was worth trying to avoid some very angry people at the door in March.

We’ll have details on the keynote and more in a few weeks!

01-04-10  Happy New Year!
Less than 80 days away from our proverbial kickoff and things are really coming together! It looks like we’ll have another sold-out show (I know, crazy!), so if you want to get tickets to the show now is the time.

We also opened the submission process for the Boston Independent Showcase, where we will be featuring local small game companies on the main expo floor. Click here for details!

If you’re interested in volunteering at the show this year, we’ve started taking Enforcer applications again! Fill out the form here and email it over to Kristin, our volunteer coordinator!

10-20-09  PAX East Registration is Open!
We’re six months out from our inaugural East Coast event and are well into the planning stages for the show. We’ve got everything you’ve come to expect from PAX making an appearance as well as a few other Boston surprises. Registration officially opened today and information regarding hours were also released. Big news about exhibitors, content and panels are right around the corner, so check back soon!
03-27-09  PAX East!
In 2010, something will happen. I forget what.

Oh, no! I remember now! We’re bringing PAX - the finest gaming con in existence - over to your neck of the woods. PAX East takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, a town already familiar with revolution. That’s a good thing, because we’re going to revolutionize your ass off.

Stay tuned.
